Our tariffsHow it works
REGISTRATION
Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.
RENTAL
Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike app and the FrameLock will open automatically.
PAUSE RIDE
Pause your ride without ending the rental. Simply pause your ride in the app and close the lock. The rental stays active during the pause and will be charged as usual.
RETURN
Return your bike at an official station or, if the station is full, right next to it and press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike. If you return your bike away from a station, a service fee of at least €20 will be charged.
Registration

Rent
Scan the QR code in the app. You will receive a 4-digit lock code which you enter into the BikeComputer. Confirm with "OK". The fork lock opens automatically. Alternatively you can enter your registered mobile phone number and your PIN or hold your customer card on the Bike-Computer. Confirm with "OK", the lock opens automatically.
Pause ride
Pause your ride without stopping the rental by pressing "P" on the BikeComputer. Close the fork lock. The rental continues. Open the lock again with the 4-digit lock code or your customer card.
Return
Return the bike at an offical nextbike station or, if the station is full, right next to it and close the lock. Confirm the return at the BikeComputer with "OK". Check in your app if the return was successful and inform our customer service if not.
Our tariffs
You can rent up to four bikes with one customer account. However, subscriptions and special conditions typically apply to the first bike only. The tariffs apply in Klagenfurt. You can change the tariff in your app Wallet.
Basic tariff
€1,50/15 min
If you have not booked another tariff, you will be charged at the basic rate. From the fifth hour onwards, the daily rate applies and you pay a maximum of €15/24 hours per rental.
Monthly subscription
€10/month
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at €1,50 (max. €11/24h).
Annual subscription
€59/year
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at €1,50 (max. €11/24h).
Basic tariff
€2,20/30 min
If you have not booked another tariff, you will be charged at the basic rate. From the fifth hour onwards, the daily rate applies and you pay a maximum of €22/24 h per rental.
Monthly subscription
€12,50/month
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at € 2,20 (max. €17/24 h per rental)
Basic tariff
€2,50/30 min
If you have not booked another tariff, you will be charged at the basic rate. From the fifth hour onwards, the daily rate applies and you pay a maximum of €25/24 hours per rental.
Monthly subscription
€15/month
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at €2,50. In addition, a discounted 24-hour rate (from the 5th hour onwards) of max. €20 applies.
