STUDIbike

All students automatically gain access to STUDIbike plans by linking their nextbike customer account with their university email address. Register via the nextbike app, website, or customer service and provide your university email address to link your account to STUDIbike. If you already have a nextbike customer account, you simply need to update your email address in the nextbike app (under Account Settings > Profile) or via the nextbike website (under User Settings). The following email domains can be used to link to STUDIbike:

• @edu.aau.at
• @edu.fh-kaernten.ac.at
• @edu-phk.at
• @edu.phk.ac.at

Once successfully linked, you will receive a confirmation link at the provided email address; simply confirm it to complete the process. You can now easily purchase the two STUDIbike plans via the nextbike app (in the side menu under “Wallet”) or on the nextbike website (under “Manage plan options”).

• The first half-hour of each rental is free.
• Each additional half-hour costs €1.50 (billed in 30-minute increments).
• A reduced 24-hour rate (daily maximum) of €11 applies.
• The STUDIbike plan can be purchased via the app, the website, or our service line for €35.50 per year. It is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. Alternatively, the semester plan can be purchased for €23.50; it is valid for 183 days from the date of purchase.
• With a Nextbike account, up to four bikes can be rented simultaneously; however, the STUDIbike rate applies only to the first bike.
• E-bikes and e-cargo bikes are not included in the plan.
