Our tariffsHow it works
REGISTRATION
Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.
RENTAL
Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike app and the FrameLock will open automatically.
PAUSE RIDE
Pause your ride without ending the rental. Simply pause your ride in the app and close the lock. The rental stays active during the pause and will be charged as usual.
RETURN
Return your bike at an official station in Lower Austria and press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike. If you return your bike outside of an station, a service fee of at least €20 will be charged.

Cargo bikes are available at the stations Altabachgasse in Wiener Neustadt and Mühlbach-Ost in St. Pölten. Scan the QR code with the app, push the bike forward and fold the feet upwards.
PAUSE RIDE
Pause your ride without ending the rental. Simply pause your ride in the app and close the lock. The rental stays active during the pause and will be charged as usual.
RETURN
Cargobikes may only be returned to one of the two rental stations Altabachgasse in Wiener Neustadt and Mühlbach-Ost in St. Pölten. If you return your bike outside of those stations, a service fee of at least €40 will be charged. Place the bike on its feet and close the lock.
Winter Operations at nextbike in Lower Austria
From 16 November to 19 March, nextbike operates in winter mode in many municipalities across Lower Austria. Starting 20 March, we’ll be back for you in all regions!

Amstetten, Brunn am Gebirge, Guntramsdorf, Hennersdorf, Hinterbrühl, Katzelsdorf, Krems, Korneuburg, Mödling, Langenzersdorf, Leobendorf, Liesing, Michelhausen, Maria Enzersdorf, Perchtoldsdorf, Schwechat, St. Pölten, Spillern, Stockerau, Tulln, Vösendorf, Wiener Neudorf and Wiener Neustadt.

Our tariffs
The first 15 minutes per rental of a pedal bike are generally free in Lower Austria. Further free minutes are available through various partner conditions.

Cargobikes are only available in the general tariff and excluded from all special tariffs.

Get a 15% discount when you ride a nextbike to a Wachaubahn station and purchase a train ticket.
