How it works

In addition to classic bikes, WienMobil Rad also offers a number of family-friendly bikes with child seats as well as e-bike.

REGISTRATION

Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.

RENTAL

Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike app and the FrameLock will open automatically.

PAUSE RIDE

Pause your ride without ending the rental. Simply pause your ride in the app and close the lock. The rental stays active during the pause and will be charged as usual.

RETURN

Return your bike at an official WienMobil Rad station and press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike. If you return your bike outside of a station, a service fee of at least € 20 will be charged.

Our tariffs

You can rent up to four bikes with one customer account. However, subscriptions and special conditions only apply to the first bike. You can change the tariff in your account settings.

People with a Wiener Linien annual pass, semester ticket, (top) youth ticket or climate ticket (Austria or metropolitan region) travel cheaper with the WienMobil Mix tariff.

Annual subscription

Regular customers of Wiener Linien receive a discount on the annual pass.

Bikes: The first 30 minutes are included with every bike rental.
E-Bikes: The first 30 minutes cost just €2,30.

Any further charges are calculated according to the WienMobil Mix Standard tariffs for the respective bike type.
